Aspirations & Resilience: Arab Youth & the COVID-19 Era, underwritten by Embassy of the United Arab Emirates

Surveys have shown there is little gap in aspirations between young Arabs and young Americans. Join The Hill to learn about the hopes of Arab youth and understand why it should matter to Americans. Approximately 240 million people in the Middle East are under the age of 30. With greater awareness of the world around them, these youth, like those in the United States are motivated to improve their socio-economic conditions, enhance the quality of education they receive and secure better healthcare. We'll hear from Middle East leaders and youth representatives from the region.

Results 2020 & The 50+ Voter, sponsored by AARP

50+ voters were seen as key to winning many races in battleground states. Women over 50 have been of particular interest to pollsters in the lead up to the election. But just how much did this community affect the results? Where did 50+ voters have the greatest impact? How did mail-in voting change the game for older voters? The Hill will sit down with lawmakers and political analysts to discuss the impact of 50+ voters in 2020.

Featuring:

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), The House Democratic Caucus Task Force on Aging and Families

Virginia Kase, CEO, League of Women Voters

Nancy LeaMond, Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy and Engagement Officer, AARP

Minyon Moore, Principal, Dewey Square Group

Ashlee Rich Stephenson, VP and National Political Director, Political Affairs and Federation Relations, U.S. Chamber of Commerce

Additional speakers to be announced
